*is very surprised that no one named Dwarf-Tossing as a ME sport*

Coconut Ent you'll find most of the old SF-Fandom members at sffworld.com...........they are already causing trouble there

And there is afro-elf here too. Who else is over from sf-fandom, which seems to have suffered a bit of an Akallabeth?

How does one change the title under the icon? I'm no hobbit.
There is a note posted on the front door of SF-Fandom. They are working on re-registering the mods and admins, and then the members. What a long process after losing everything. Probably give it another week or so. What a headache for poor Dixie. In the meantime, glad to have you here, and yes, many are hanging out at sfiworld I think it's called, but they don't have a Tolkien forum.

Coconut, if you stick around until you reach 500 posts, you may have a custom title.

The golf thing wasn't a joke. The game was invented when Bandobras Took (right?) knocked off an Orc's head in some big battle or other, and it went flying right into a rabbit-hole, thus "winning the battle and inventing the game of golf at the same time."

Other than that, the above-mentioned sports were probably all popular.

I'm sure foot races were commonplace. I believe I read that somewhere too.

Hobbits did well at carnival games such as dart throwing, knocking down bowling pins and most especially ring toss!

Orc hunting. What fun! If you haven't tried it, don't knock it. I'm hooked.

For some reason it says you're at 7 posts, and a Hobbit. But Hobbits are cool!

I did pick up on the wrestling, and I bet they also have other kinds of martial arts. Not the martial arts that we know of today, but something along the lines of hand to hand combat practiced in ancient Britain.
