When I was growiing up there was this song called something like "Hello this is Joanie". No idea who it was by. Was about some bloke ringing his g/fs answering machine. But she never calls back cos she died in a car crash on the way home. Which he find upsetting, naturally.

Anyone else heard of it?

I must admit that I love the Backstreet Boys! I do, it's almost pathetic how much I love them. I have 13 CD's I've seen them in concert twice (One time I paid $250.00 )

Then that would constitute as 1/4 of the music I listen to.

So, afro-elf, does that lyrically void music include classical and instrumental?

I find myself singing to Jennifer Lopez, Kylie Minogue and Christina Aguilera a lot (used to be a fan of Christina). It's not that I like the music or the lyrics, it's just fun to sing to, especially Christina. I can belt it out too, y'know!
