and the drunk elven pirate captain staggers in to share her favorites. . .

Pint o' Guiness!
Cider
most any wine, except for that awful Kosher stuff (eek!)
Kahlua
vodka (straight, please!)
Daiquiris (sp?)

Just no guaro, please! The stuff is terrible! *sings Johnny Jump Up, except about Guaro...* Oh never, oh never, oh never again, if I live to a hundred or a hundred and ten, 'cause I fell to the ground, and I couldn't get up, after drinkin' 7 shots of the Guaro....uh, oh, doesn't quite work there. . .*goes back to singing mangled songs*

Arathorn, that 7-11 stuff sounds interesting. . .

*hands Arathorn the flask of Miruvor*

Here, have some *hic*

*pulls out another flask from cloak*
*conveniently forgets about hypothetical liver problems*

Wait, I'm an elf! Elves don't get liver problems.

I know elves don't get liver problems. They just grow back when you take 'em. Who do you think I got that liver from?

My alter-ego drinks miruvor like there's no tomorrow, but moi, since I have to live on real earth rather than middle earth, I like Silver Petron Tequila, a whole range of fine wines from around the world, top shelf Apple Martinis, high dollar champagne, blueberry teas, hmmm... *thinksthinks* and lemon drops - anyone know what lemon drops are? Anduril might like them; they're all about vodka.

There's this bar in Maui that makes the best Mai Tais I think I've ever had.

Right now the only "poison" I can go near, though, is Nyquil and herbal tea since I'm so friggin' flu-sick.

Nice bump Lotesse.

I like a number of beer including Guinness, Stella Artois, Karhu, Tre Kronor, and Granville Island Lager.
I also like cider, especially Perry (pear cider!) and Strongbow.
I like Vodka, Frangelico, Swedish Schnapps, and Kahlua.
I like wine and Sangria.

Sangria:
1 bottle Dry Red Wine
1 oz. Brandy
1 oz. Triple Sec
1/4 cup sugar or to taste
10 oz. Club Soda
Orange Pineapple Lime Lemon Slices

Glass type: No glass type has been given for this drink.

Directions: Combine all (except Club Soda) into a large pitcher. Refrigerate. Add Club Soda just prior to serving. Stir.

(Source)

This is to make a pitcher for multiple people to drink.

I don't drink a lot, but when I do I like to try new drinks (no, I will not try a Cement Mixer or the like) and I like my above listed favourites.

Oh, and...

Ahhh, Sangria!! I have such lovely memories of Sangria summer afternoons with my Italian friends, lounging by the pool and making (and drinking) fresh sangria by the gallon like every day!

Here's another sangria recipe I found online, but it's not in English -

Ingredientes:

The fantastic thing about beer, I have discovered, is that it is extremely effective as a stomach-soother, if you're feeling under the weather or nauseas (godDAMMIT I can never spell that freakin' word!!!) anyway, beer is always perfect for soothing the stomach, and ridding nausea. Especially Hefenweiser, the golden sweet German wheat beer that you can squeeze a lemon into. Yummy. Now I want a beer.

You have a dove? Cool! It's "nauseous" Lotesse, if you ever need to know. The fizz in beer doesn't make your stomach more upset though?

Now I want a beer... nah.

Yep, I have a dove she is lovely and affectionate. If not all that graceful, shes a bit of a klutz.

No, the fizz doesnt make you nasuseous, but there are some beers that do, not all of them are great for upset stomach. mostly the lighter, sweeter beers are good for tha.t

*waves hello to Nala*

I don't drink, except to taste something once in a while. But for poisons... Chocolate Mousse with Bailey's irish cream, and my family's homemade cider.
