What about dwarf and dragon? How would it breath without singing its beard?

That's easy. When you witness a dragon-cross-dwarf, you will notice that the beard now grows upon the top of said being's snout. Since dwarves and dragons are both very hardy creatures, the texture of the beard would be as barbed-wire, yet of mithril construction. Therefore, in light of this new wisdom, you will understand that even though the beard is on top of the snout, and not below it, the rising heat will not damage, or singe, the beard. Anything else?
