Sounds like a good plan. What's your strategy? Please share with us! Maybe not here though...

You won't have to battle all admins. SGH has said herself that she doesn't like the rule. And like she told me yesterday it's only bmilder who can change that rule.

I am working out a plan for us to remove the 90 second rule on posting (or at least cut it down).
I'll of course have to battle the admins for this...but I constructed well enough, my new plan for preventing spam will suceed and get we'll get rid of the 90 sec. rule
You expect us to believe you're being serious after a header post like you had?

Anyone here who still has faith in the democratic system, raise your hand.

No? Nobody? Didn't think so.

Who are the idiots who voted for hector? I think they should all be brought to account for their actions. Next he's going to institute caning for chewing gum. If this continues - I think we should have impeachment proceedings immediately and strip him of his presidency.

Jonathan should have been president.

Do we believe him?

I'm positive that Hector will be a brilliant president for Entmoot. This was just a little fun he was having.

And of course to up his post count!

Do we really need a spammer as president?

Ah! But a spammer for a president just shows that he's the same as alot of mooters.

Connects his holiness with mere peasants like myself!

Well presidents are common citizens and not above the law. As for calling a president his holiness - just goes to show that the whole thing is a dictatorship in the disguise of a democracy. (Sort of reminds me of Russia and Putin at the moment).

I was joking about the 'holiness' - just something I was joking around with in a PM earlier....

Ah what is the moot coming to

Well hector I was going to congratulate you on your victory, but now I don't think so
after seeing your rules I think I'm going to go with JD. An impeachment might be in order here.

No, the reason it wasn't in the dictionary is that it's really spelled a-d-h-e-r-e-d.

Seriously though, I'm intrigued by Hector's proposal to do away with the ol' ninety second rule. It's never been a big issue for me, but I have heard many Mooters profess to hate it. So, of course, now I'm wondering: What would it take for Hector to get that rule abolished? Would he just have to talk to bmilder and ask him nicely, or if not, what else would be involved?

I really do think the 90 seconds rule is not that bad. It just prevents spamming. It's not that bad - the worst that can happen is that you wait a minute. A minute is definitely the time you can spare to Entmoot - and even, if you post 10 posts, then 9 minutes are not much time. It's generally a good rule...

But, the 120 rule in the PM's is very annoying. But bearable.
