Asforoth carried me far and fast. She knew when speed was necessary. I wore Cemina on her finger as she rode, and the earth rolled away beneath them We arrived very soon. The Ring had given them speed. I entered the wise and saw a Maia and some elves sitting around; I rode cautiously up to them. "Almare, elen sila lumena omentielvo. I am summoned here, though I know not the reason."

*I looked at Starletta* What did they say?

They say the fallen rider shall ride again.

*looks at the sky* That is what I feared.

I waited patiently for an answer. "I am summoned by Cemina and the waters o the pool." i explained slowly, and I pointed to Cemina on my finger.

''elen sila lumena omentielvo. I am Vásir. I am a maia and the keeper of helce,The quarts Ring of ice'' I bowed to the Newcomer, when the Hobbit came with tea and biscuits. She proffered a cup.

''No Thankyou, I am not thirsty. But many thanks for the offer.''

ooc: Gotta go now! Sorry!

Here's the deal: Fealome is in the normal world. Her Ring must somehow get to Middle-Earth. She is the new Dark Lady, and she will learn it soon. She's going with the Ring. We're gonna pretend I'm going to be around for the next week to write her part. *grin*
Will write more later. Out of time.
(Hi Fea! recognize your name?)

Fealome (I'm too lazy to put accents on her name) knew not of what she had awoken. She only felt something about the plain gold band; she kept it about her always. Sometimes she would wear it and sometimes leave it around her neck on a chain. It mattered not to her.
Well . . . it did matter, once she thought about it. Mattered in a precious sort of way. She would not part with it ever, she promised herself.
And this too frightened her, along with the beauty of it which she had strived for, the soul of the metal, which marked her achievement in a mournful way. She tried to explain her obsession with the piece of gold now that it was forged. Yes, it was perfect, that's why, she said to herself, but I know that's not all.
And it wasn't.

Laurelyn Walsh looked around herself in surprise. Hobbits, dwarves, elves, etc were in all directions. It looked like some kind of army; a mismatched one but an army all the same. They were unarmed, but there was an obvious power among them.
Middle-Earth, she thought in amazement. Middle-earth. I'm a Tolkien fanatic and I'm in MIddle- Earth. A writer, an amateur jeweler, a lot of things, but in Middle-earth.
But what am I here for? She wondered. (Word, Mistabella)
*****
Fealome's window bore a sign reading "We're open."
She often laughed at the irony of that statement; that there was only one of her and the sign said "we." Lonely, she pronounced herself, and continued her life.
"We're open."
The sign always brought customers. People wanted jewelry, her jewelry; she had people who came back every holiday season to buy gifts for friends and people who looked in her windows regularly.

The win-- it is said that a great magic surrounds the relm, so as none can pass withot being called.

It is true, as I have read it in the stars*pulls out compact and gazes inside.*

"Of course it WAS true. None could enter unless summoned by her which made the spell. But I never summond all you!" Good going thought the hobbit. Now they know the spell was created by you.

Well, the west winds said nothing of a hobbit creating a spell.

The winds donot tell all that is true.*looks at Belladona* Well madam Belladona, it seems you may have not wanted us here, but we are wanted here. Has there been anything strange around here?

*Liat spoke up* "O, yes. M-Fran and I where playing a game, and all of a sudden she just collasped. And then there was my-"

"Liat, there is no need to tell them of that, it was just a dream."

"Perhaps she had better. Dreams sometimes mean more than it seems."

"No, not this one. It was just the usual nonscens that accompanies dreams. Right Liat?"

"Yes, m'am."

*There was something they do not speek of, though we all have our secrets.* Well, our dreams are the gateway to what we are, feel, and see.

*Starletta looked up* How rude we must seem, straying in here, not even introducing ourselves. I am Starletta of the Rain, Rider, Trainer, And Groomer of Rohan, Reader of the Wind.

The younger hobbit smiled shyly at her "Hullo Starletta, im Liat Brandybuck, dreamer, knower of what will come, and unknown child of Merridoc Brandybuck. My name's not of this world you know. It's from another world...well the futer actually, from a language called French."

The older hobbit smiled. "Liat is not her real name. It is one she gave herself, and is what we all call her now. Lubyla, I must speak with you...<For you are the creator of the hobbit rings...are you not?>

<Aye, that I am Belladona.>*I looked at Starletta* Could you speek any louder?

Lubyla, I-i'm sorry. It shan't happen again.

No, it wont. Keep your mind cleared of our secrets, and an eye out for Andodulin, for I must be off for a little. Do not fear though, I shall be back soon.

Alright, I shall keep an eye out to the sky, for that is how he will travel, no?

I would hope so, though watch for the Dark One, as the winds say.

The sign drew other folk as well; people she saw once and never again.
***
Fealome heard the bell on her door ring out a melody as the door opened. She looked out of her workroom to see who had come.
This customer looked strange to her; she had never seen someone like him before. He was of a normal height but stepped so lightly and gracefully it looked as though his feet were not touching the ground. His eyes were innocent and young and old and wise at the same time. She wondered who he could be; she felt like he should be familiar.
"Hello," she said, a little uncertainly.
"A star shines upon the hour of our meeting," he replied.
Even his words seemed like she should know them, Fealome mused. She was halfway frightened of this stranger. "Can I help you?" she asked.
"Perhaps," he said. "And perhaps I can help you instead. Do you sell rings?"
"Yes, what kind?" What did he mean perhaps he could help her instead?
"Simple gold ones," the stranger replied.
Fealome blinked. He was speaking as if he knew of her ring; or was she only being paranoid? "I could make you one," she stammered.
"No," he replied, "I don't want one. Here, though; you have told me what I needed to know. Take these, nightsoul, and read them."
He handed Fealome a box. Books? she wondered. What else would he tell me to read? But I don't understand. "Wh--"
"A gift," he said. "But read them." And he left.
Fealome stared at the box. Opening one end, she saw that it was indeed a package of books; three of them. She examined the covers.
The Lord of the Rings, by J.R.R Tolkien.
And there was a piece of paper there as well; a note.
Fealome, you will find much more to be familiar than I before you are finished reading, it said.
Shaken, Fealome wondered how he had know what she thought. How he had known her name. Who he was.
And then she opened the cover of the Fellowship of the Ring.

I smiled, "Mae govannen. I am Atuile, book keeper of Imladris. Merely yesterday, I found this among a pile of old, forgotten manuscripts." I pulled out the black book and Cemina. I proffered them to the Maia. He reached for them, and I drew Cemina back. "You may see the book, but not the ring." I explained. He took the book and opened it. "It is blank, but I feel as if I should chronicle our journey. It--it only seems right." I stammered. I dismounted from Asforoth and bad her farewell for awhile. I sat on the cool green grass, feeling the earth's deep energy running into me...pulsing. I waited while Vasir looked through the book.

Guys? I'm gonna be gone for about a week with probably no internet time. Don't miss me too much, ok? I think we had better just pretend that Fealome is a slow reader.
