IR, can't you tell us more? Where's he going? How long have you know about this masquerade? I'm confused, hurt and angry.

Yeah, and come to think of it, JD always seemed fascinated with the space center in French Guiana. I think he mentioned how he thought it was good that NASA got some good competition.

Honestly people, I don't see why you're making such a big fuss over this. I think it's great that JD finally admitted the truth to himself!

I mean, it must have been really tough on him pretending to dislike France so much while in his heart he was loving the country to bits. I always knew that his France-bashing and calling us euro-whiners was half-hearted and un-meant. He's just a big softie, really. It was just a big ruse because he obviously wanted to fit in with the dominant anti-Chirac crowd here. Now he finally realised he should be himself and not pretend to be like the rest.

Très bien JD! Courage!

Yeah, well if you ask me, I'd say he's gone off the deep end.

Yes, I suspected he wasn't all such a big tough guy as he made himself out to be.

But I think I'd like to see JD come out and confess all this himself. So JD... is it really all true???

He's gone for the weekend. I guess that means he's going to France. He must've been chuckling at that one.

JD, you go a long way back with everyone here. I don't know what you've been thinking all along. I know you used to play a lot of jokes, but faking your identity as an American patriot is too far.

How can you harbor such extreme hate to carry on like that for years!? I knew it wasn't healthy that you were always so sure of yourself, but now that I realise you were just mocking us, spitefully, you're one step below terrorist as far as I'm concerned. Thank goodness you're just french and non-threatening.

I can't belive I used to support you in political threads. Remember Took Talk?

Lets just say that I kept his secrets and he kept mine. But then things changed… so I feel no need to keep this secret any longer. You see he watched a little bit too much of that French news when he should have been doing American stuff and something just snapped! And he became obsessed with the place and had a strong urge to learn all about the politics and history of france. he would even dress up in French clothes! But he didn’t want anyone to know. He was definitely in the closet about it. but… things happened… so now its out in the open. May jesus have mercy on him for his sins…

Yeah, have a nice trip and consume lots of those French wines and cheeses you've always said you were boycotting.

Oh, jeez. That even makes sense. So he just gets obsessed with anything he sees the most. I'm in shock that after all this time I thought I knew him as strong-willed, he's actually so easily brainwashed by the media. But why did he have to watch French TV?

You're right Eärniel, we should be more supportive of JD. Moving to another country is a really big deal! I know you already speak French JD, but here's some helpful phrases, for just in case.

"Excuse-moi, mais ou est la toilette?"
The most important international phrase.

"Est-ce que vous voulez aller manger?"
The second-most important international phrase.

"Ou est la gare?"
"Ou est l'aeroport?"
"Ou somme mes pantalons?"

Other handy phrases. (That last one is in case BoP shows up. )

Try using these ones in bars:
"Une bière. Non, deux. Actuellement... trois."
"Bonjour, mais tu es belle ce soir."
"Tu as un beau? Il me fait rien!"
"Ce bataille n'est pas ma faute monsieur policier."
"Bonjour maman, s'il vous plaît, est-ce que tu peux payer mon liberté."

Just in case you get into trouble...

At least I know you're having fun in Paris, thanks for the email! I'll share the picture you sent with everyone, I'm sure they're all concerned about you by now.

Has he gone French... or does he want you to think he has, in order to pull another turn around and go back to America (possibly following that by fleeing to China )

All jokes aside, there's one thing that seriously needs considered: What are we going to call him? I'm putting in a serious proposal of 'France Fiend'!

He'll go back to the US, then back to France... who know where he will go next...

As for the name, you're right! I like your alliterative name. What about Dijondiable? Or Parisdiable since he's in PARIS now.

Send us a postcard of the Eiffel tower! And l'Arc de Triomphe!

Well he asked me not to bring this up in public but who am I to resist mentioning such a blatant display of hypocrisy.
If he's trying to avoid letting people know about it, why has he changed his profile so utterly?

He was hiding it up till now, but now that he has actually taken off to Paris, well, he's displaying his new allegiance loudly and proudly.

As for IRex being a Christian, this is OT (way to go IRex ), but how can you tell he's NOT a Christian? We're a varied bunch - you and I are both Christians but we've disagreed about (Christian-related) things before.

Well it doesn't matter where JD lives. I'm just so shocked that he'd pretend to love Bush and everything with such elaborate deception.
