I've taken over the world three times but I always give it back, because Earth is no fun to rule. Believe me. But if you crazy humans (and aliens) actually want to control this world after you've taken over, I'll help you conquer it.

Ah. Apparently, everyone's world takeover plots HAVE collapsed. Advice to those who would listen. From watching the attempts of others to take over the world, I have learned quite a few things.

(1) Earth CAN be taken over, but no one can keep it even if they want to.
(2) And if you're trying to conquer the universe ... just forget it!

And really, it's not all that much fun, I'd advise you all to stick to your day job as Mad Scientists or Evil Alien Leaders or whatever you are.

Who says I want to RULE the world? I told you, I've taken over three times, and being the ruler of Earth is a BORING BORING BORING job! Listen, for me it's all in the game, the strategy. Besides, one planet is most definitely enough, particularly since THAT planet always seems to be at war with some OTHER planet. I simply mean to be an adviser to one (or several) who is foolish enough to want control of the world ... and then I will pack up and leave, laughing as the idiot finally figures out how dreary his or her new job is!

I do not misunderstand you, Aeryn. I am not truly concerned, because I am not, in fact, an Earthling. However, it is a great pity that you think you are the creator. I have spoken with Him; this is why I know that no one can keep Earth for long. Why are we fighting, though? We almost seem to be saying the same thing. Did I not just say I would advise one who wanted to conquer the world on how to do so -- to tickle people into submission, and so forth? And are you not giving you support to another than yourself as well, by allowing them to rule even part of the world?

Excellent point. Whearas I am self-serving, even though I do not plan to rule this world, because I am not giving up anything that I actually want.

And have you not realized that, when I have helped a person or people to conquer Earth, if they are poor rulers, I can conquer Earth again, giving most countries to the people who had them in the first place?
