That would be Hector Berlioz, as President for Entmoot according tot he secret underground PM I got from him. And now he wants to be Pres of the USA and is issuing threatening suggestions? "Just be sure and vote for the right person" - or else?

Oh, I am shocked! Shocked, I tell you!!!

Perhaps a little help for those who can't decide, even with the discussions going on here

That's a groovy quiz thing. I've done it before. Got me a -6, -8 as I recall, which I was very pleased with! Nearest was Gandhi and Mandela.

* Polishes halo *

Interesting how all political US/UK parties are very close together.

So, nice to see there's no sexual stereotyping going on in this campaign, Hector.

My views are apparently close to those of John Edwards, but when looking at the % I too would be an Obama voter. But I can't vote, so why am I even taking the test?

It said I should vote for Ron Paul But looking closer I think McCain is more likely.

It's nice to see that there actually isn't any sexual stereotyping in this campaign. Belinda Stronach, a Canadian MP, gets an absolutely unreal amount of flak for being a blond, wealthy, good-looking and young woman. She's also extremely intelligent and well-spoken, but that tends to get forgotten.

The "gloves come off" reference is more of a "Hilary is a lawyer and therefore a robot" sort of reference. Otherwise I don't get it.

I got Obama too, but I prefer Hillary as a candidate. Interesting.

That can also be said of Romney really. The people that dislike him seem to base it on the fact that he's rich and looks like a Ken doll.

You're more perceptive than Gaffer.

It's also funny because it shows her taking skin off, as if those were the gloves. It works great as a cartoon.

I like Obama better. It's really too bad he's a Democrat. And if Hillary gets the nomination, that doesn't mean the end of Obama at all. He'll be back

Let me also say that I have respect for Hillary. She's a great player of the political game. Obviously she's not a bad personality either, if Republican senators who know her are telling the truth. But REALLY she hasn't done all that much, even in the senate...Hillary has been running for President for a long time, I don't hold that against her. What disturbs me are her blatantly Nanny Government policy plans e.g. banning homeschooling. I was home schooled! Lady Ravyn was home schooled! We did just fine thank you! (The bitter homeschooler's wish list: http://www.familyhack.com/2007/11/09/homeschooler-rant/)

You know that famous comment: When they came for the Jews you said nothing because you were not a Jew. When they came for the etc you said nothing because you were not etc....when they came fore the homeschoolers...etc

There are more important issues of course, but that brought it home to me just how radical her plans are as regards to the Government's role. I'm just not ready for that...

And to be fair to her, John Edwards and [not sure] Barack Obama promise to be just as bad: mandatory doctor visits.

Fred dropped out today. Not as surprised as I thought I would have been a week ago...a lot has happened since then.

However you wish to label me for posting this comic, you gotta admit it's pretty funny

I think you are fear-mongering a bit there. None of their ideas are as radical as you portray them.

Also, it is the congress that ultimately passes all the laws, not the president. Any changes of that kind will take bipartisan support to a level that would override any presidential veto anyway.

A president's intentions count. With a democratic congress, it's very much do-able.

I'd be interested to see a link to Hillary Clinton saying she wants to ban home-schooling.

Yes, I'd be interested in it too. It's fascinating how these myths get transformed through the media.

Hilarious spot on the Daily Show yesterday: clips from Fox showing "The Democrats getting elected" as the number 1 cause for economic gloom.
