Don't know where this belongs...

Ive sort of looked for a thread on the book by Tolkien and Swann
called "The Road Goes Ever On" or something along those lines. This book is supposed to be the one that has a big collection of many of Tolkiens songs. Has anyone seen it? I'm just wondering if it has music to the songs or not.

Yes, I have it. Every song in the book is accompanied by musical notation, mostly for piano I think, but with some it has the guitar chords.

Nolendil, Have you played any of the songs? How do they sound? I would like to get this. It's one thing to read a song, but to hear the actual melody would be a thrill.

Hmmm... interesting. I'll have to see if I can track that one down, because I have some musical talent and would like to hear the songs.

I found it in my local library. To be blunt, I disliked it. It seemed to have too many plain chords...it lacked Middle-earth beauty.

OR maybe I mutilated it on piano. OR maybe it's my cynical day today. Take your pick...but decide to get it or not for yourself.
