And I too am partial to "Aure Entuluva!"
I thought when he finally spoke to Asfaloth in the Elven tongue, that that is what got his arse moving. It was something like "Fly, fly Asfaloth. The enemy is upon us. Or that may be what he said before he spoke the Elven tongue. Not sure.

Ah. Found it. It isn't a battle cry, but Theoden says it to Aragorn right before dawn at the Battle of Helm's Deep.

"Will you ride with me then, son of Arathorn? Maybe we shall cleave a road, or make such an end as will be worth a song -- if any be left to sing of us hereafter."

You were partially right Tar-Elendil, about the line afterwards about anyone left to sing. I was looking all over Return of the King, then I realized that it might be in The Two Towers. And lo and behold! I found it.

That's what Legolas says in Ralph Bakshi's Fellowship of the Ring movie.

"Noro lim" is left untranslated by Tolkien and most linguists don't really take a stab at it. Helgeh Fauskanger (the Ardalambion webmaster) says in his Quenya Corpus that it is "untranslated but evidently meaning 'run fast, run fast, Asfaloth!'" It's likewise not translated in the movie when Arwen says it. Whatever it means, the result was that Asfaloth ran away.

'ere we go!
'ere we go!

Nolendil, Glorfindel says this in "Flight to the Ford.

From the Fellowship of the Ring:

Quote:
There was still an echo as of following feet in the cutting behind them, a rushing noise as if wind were rising and pouring through the branches of the pines. One moment Glorfindel turned and listened, then he sprang forward with a loud cry,
"Fly!" he called. "Fly! 'The enemy is upon us!"
