i saw this at tolkienonline.com that the guy who plays Elrond played a dragqueen in a different movie. I can't remember the name of it though...

The guys name is Hugo Weaving and he's been quite a few Australian films. I kept hoping that Elrond wouldn't be wearing drag queen clothes and start dancing to ABBA!

Lotsa ABBA songs in that movie too. I couldn't stop laughing at the high heel sign on the way to Sidney in the movie.

It is a cool movie and very funny. I haven't seen it a long time.

It is out on DVD and it's called - The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. At least that's what Amazon has it listed as.

I havn't seen the movie for a few years, but the basic premise is that three drag queens (including Hugo Weaving and Guy Pearce) go on a trip to the Australian outback in a bus called Priscilla. On the way they do various "shows". It's pretty funny.
