Good call Ri, I forgot about the Butchart gardens. I've heard they're lovely. Don't use American money there though, they will rob you blind. Bring Canadian money with you. Get it at your local bank before you leave; they're a lot less likely to gouge your eyes out.

If you ever go, Nurv, be sure to go to the Sunken Gardens / Quarry Garden, and be sure to go ALL THE WAY to the very, very back, to the bridge - that's where you'll catch a glimpse of Middle Earth (the fountain picture) just around the corner ... that's what I love about that spot - you can see it, but you can't get there ...
