Okaaay. . .You crazy fan girls scare me sometimes. But I'm even crazier, so I can't talk. See, I'm not "in love" with Orlando Bloom (or Elijah Wood, for that matter), I'm in love with Legolas's weapons. Seriously. His bow, his arrows, the quiver his arrows reside in, and those knives! *looks at the nice pictures at elfenemo and starts drooling* Ooh, and Sting! What they had in the movie was BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! Yah, so I've probably just scared all of you. . .oh well.
But honestly. . .he's hot, but he's just another person. . .(who can shoot a bow really well *goes all Gollum-ish* hee hee hee)

No, don't shut up, Tinuviel Child! Keep going! I too thought I was the only one in love with the weapons, and the skill involved in using them! Of course, I don't really drool over Legolas. . .maybe his costumes though! (want! want!) But yeah, the weapons in that movie are great! And the skill with the knives was amazing too!

all the elvish weapons are gorgeous (want! want!) and i so wish i could shoot like Legolas! i mean, i usually manage to hit the target in archery, but... i take fencing, but that's not at all like real sword-fighting, that's a sport. with rules. and stuff to make sure you don't get hurt. and no sharp swords. and i could go on and on and on... *sigh* oh well...n-e 1 know where i might find a replica of sting, glamdring, and/or the elvish weaponry (esp. bows/arrows/quiver)????

I do know where to find replicas of Glamdring, Sting, Narsil, and some other swords. . .The BarrowDowns ebay store, and Blades by Brown Cutlery. I'd buy them in a second if only I had the money. . .but as for a bow and arrows, if anyone knows where to get them, I will buy them even if I have to spend hours (gasp) babysitting and other terrible jobs to do so! (want! want! want!)
You take fencing, Tinuviel Child? I'm going to try and take fencing soon. But I really want to take up archery. If only I knew where I could do so. . .I even have my dad's old bow! (And one arrow. . .)

i love fencing (it helps that i'm relatively good at it ), but i personally prefer archery (not that i've even held a bow in 3 years, but...). if i could own Legolas's bow, i would not spend a dime until i could afford it and the arrows and quiver (no, not even to go see LotR again!) i wish i could take archery again tho, i had to stop right when i was getting good cuz i no longer went to the summer camp where i took archery... oh well..
yeah, this is getting kinda off-subject. but what can i say? i love weaponry, especially the elvish archer's stuff!

Same here, Tinuviel Child. BTW, what did you think of Arwen's sword? (Please ignore any of your previous opinions of Arwen Warrior Princess if you have any that might affect your answer) But here I go off topic again. . .Maybe we should start a new thread for talking about the weapons. . .

I got a bow!!!!!!!!!! Yipee!!!!!!! Well, actually it's my dad's old one, and it's fiberglass, rather than wood, but it's kind of mine now, and I can actually string it, which was pretty hard at first, but by now it's easy. Now I just have to learn how to use it the way Legolas/Orlando Bloom did in the movie, and I'll be very happy indeed! (If I can find an archery range. . .or some orcs to practice on. . .wow, am I violent or what!)

that is awesome! i live in the city, so it's kinda hard for me to get to an archery range...lol! i can just see myself, practicing my archery on the tree outside my house, and accidentally hitting an innocent passerby and getting arrested...
