Ah, well, sometimes I'm a bit slow on the draw, I suppose, Spock! Or as the 50's mafiosos used to say, I'm lettin' my slip show - nowadays we say "slippin'" Hmmmm. And I few like I've said this before exactly the same way at some point in time, in an identical context, but that's imPOSSible - oh, never mind.

Ah, well. I think it's implied, really subtle. Don't feel bad, Tessar, I still don't really get it either.

I didn't really get it either. Sorry.

I have had two incidents of deja vu since reading this thread. One of them I can't remember, the other was just now. I searched something in Google and something from Entmoot came up. Then I typed in Entmoot in the address bar, and bang- deja vu. I do know that both incidents I did come to the conclusion that it's just because a similar thing happened before.

I have the occasional déjÃ* vu although I reckon I either imagine it or have dreamt it. They're only short flashes and the moment I try to recall them properly they seem to have never happened. Sometimes I think of something that looks like a memory of something someone said to me or something I did, only to realise the second afterwards that that conversation never happened or that I never did that particular something.

There was one instance I was thinking about how to explain a procedure to apply for a certain permit when the next moment I realised I didn't even know what that permit was. At least that's what I remember. The odd thing is that a while later I ended up working with that same permit and half way through the work I remembered in a flash that I had been thinking this before. The trouble is I can't say whether that's really the way it went or whether it's only a memory of a dream.

You know, having to explain a joke always takes half the fun out of it.

Speaking of deja vu - here's the thread for it, trolls' bane & Elanor's Angel! Can you recount for us an interesting episode of deja vu that you might have had recently? I saw you guys talking about it in the Teacup just now. What Bombadillo says here in this thread about deja vu is very, very informative & interesting, too. Check it out! It'd be cool to get my old thread going again. It's hard to find people who can recount experiences of deja vu.

Thanks, Lottesse. I found out I was wrong though. Really, it's the result of agents tampering with the Matrix.

I thought someone else would have said that by now.

OT: What is up with your sig?

My sig? Oh, that 's a long story, and there's no way in Angmar that I can discuss that story in an open forum or I'll get banned again. Anyway.

Agents tampering with the matrix....

Whomever it was who came up with the idea of the matrix was a genius, for real. No doubt, deja vu has something to do with Elrond - er, that is agents tampering with the matrix.

I've had many Deja Vu, and I have gotten good at predicting and using them. Really helpful at times and really, really annoying at others.
