Pete and Repeat
There is a famous video installation by Bruce Nauman called Clown Torture; one of the clowns is forced to repeat the following child ryme
"Pete and Repeat were sitting on a fence. Pete fell off; who was left?" "Pete and Repeat were sitting on a fence. Pete fell off; who was left?" "Pete and Repeat were sitting on a fence. Pete fell off; who was left?" "Pete and Repeat were sitting on a fence. Pete fell off; who was left?" Not nearly as much as it reminds me of you!  Your complaint would be, in essence, that GM doesn't conform to your concept of ... what? Again implying a common standard apart from your own assessment of the good. This really is pete and repeat, but it is you with the quandary!
