What do Admins and Moderators do?And how do you become one?

We keep the board family-friendly, mostly, and try to make sure arguments don't turn nasty and don't dissolve into mindless insults and bickering. If a thread is in the wrong place, we move it to the correct forum.

You become an admin by being a mod, and Ben chooses to promote you. You became a mod because they need more mods, and some times they either pick members they know they can trust, or they put up a general call for anyone who wants to try and they might or might not choose you

Post count has nothing to do with it, except in the sense that if you are an active member of entmoot you get a higher post count, and you're more likely to be considered.

Ben means Bmilder, who owns both the Tolkien Trail and the Entmoot--he's off at college right now, so you really don't see much of him any more
