She's really pretty, but the whole Miss USA thing (and Miss Canada and Miss Universe and whatnot)... I mean... a swimsuit contest?
EDIT: I think her tan looks perfectly nice!

Hey, her tan is not deeper than the Ent atop this page!!!!!
Very nice and attractive appearing young lady...recalling yet another reason why "nothing could be finer than to be in Carolina" - but of course, Miss South Carolina had to have been cuter. A Sandlapper away from home...

edit: FYI grits = girls raised in the South

Nurv,

Yes, grits are a food derived from corn. The large dehusked kernels of dried corn are known as hominy. The ground version is known as grits. A wonderful foodstuff especially with red-eye gray, or butter, or various cheeses as topping or casseroles.

Ummm, now for breakfast!

So that's what hominy is. That's an important ingredient in French-Canadian split pea soup - a true Canadian delicacy that I'd love to make, but I think I'll have to wait until I'm back in Canada.

Grits is gritty, sort of a more textured version of Cream of Wheat. It will keep you from breakfast through lunch and more.

Hey!! How come men never parade around in swimsuits and have handsome (as opposed to beauty) pageants???

Tessar, could you please shed some light on this for me??

I'm old and have limited understanding of these things...

(did I hear something about Tessar and thongs somewhere??...I'm afraid...very afraid...!)

I'm afraid that if I did 'shed some light on it' for you, you'd be forced to tear your eyes out.

And, I must say, clearly you've never been to a Mr. Ironman weight lifter's show if you're concerned about not seeing enough men in thongs .

Pecs flexers aren't my type. I'd rather see men engaged in a talent contests or touting world peace.

But if you want to get my engine really going, a suit of armor will do it. Or Hugh Jackman in just about anything...
