I might add that I don't like her because she's a 'punk' or anything, I just like some of the music... like "I'm With You"

I liked "Complicated" when it first came out, but I've heard it too many times now.

I still like "I'm With You", and now that I have the album (got it for my bday the other month), "Anything But Ordinary" is on my MP3 player a few times a week.

i don't hate her music. some of it bugs me though. At least she doesn't run around in a bikini like most "singers" these days.

punk is to Avril as the colour green is to freshly fallen snow. or something like that. you know what really bugs me about her songs though? they are sooooo catchy! seriously i hear "sk8r boi" (or however she spells it) once and *bam* it's in my head for a week. it's horrible!

ahahhahaha i was just reading a recent Manson interview and Avril's name popped up, funnily enough because she is strange

Have you ever met anyone and thought: Ooh they're a bit strange? yeah and oddly enough it was Avril Lavigne. She came to one of my shows and we met backstage and i thought she was very, very strange, because she really doesnt have anyone babysitting her. There werent any bodygaurds and i dont know whether that was impressive because she was independant, or strange because she doesnt know that somebody might kidnap her, cut off her toes and sell them to someone like me on E-bay. I found her to be nice... but strange. And its very impressive of her to hang out with me with dildocam around. No good can come of that, can it?

i love her now, i wasnt' really all that interesting a few years ago (or whenever i started this thread.) For my b-day 3 wks ago, I got her new CD UNDER MY SKIN. my favorite song is probably My happy ending. I hear it too much tho.

I have Sk8er Boi stuck in my head now. Maybe her music is a little too catchy, IMO.

She's singing the theme on the new Sponge Bob movie that is coming out soon (random fact for the day,

(no I don't watch Sponge Bob Square Pants. Never have, never will.)
