has it not been mentioned to you that this board was started out of a big Star Wars discussion board?
Darth Tater and bmilder decided to create it after discussing it there.......... the first wave of new members were all from there.

It's funny, because right now I'm also dealing with this exact same thread at a Star Wars forum I post at, where they're bashing LOTR.
Critical, analytical comparisons of the two are excellent and very welcome. Movie X is better than Movie Y comparisons are stupid. Class dismissed.
