Happy New Year! (Rosh Hashanah)
Happy New Year to all my fellow Jewish Mooters!
For all those who don't know, Rosh Hashanah is the Jewish new year and starts at sunset tonight (9/26/03). 10 days till my foodless day of Yom Kippur.

yay! we dont have school on Yom Kippur! good thing i dont have to fast or anything since im not jewish.... but for some reason that doesnt make me feel better.....

We have school on Yom Kippur, but I don't have to go. Now yes it's 8 days, but when I posted it was 10. L'shanah Tova!

Since I'm but a wee little lad (14) and I was participating in the "family service", I witnessed one of my friends give the best sermon I've ever heard... ever. Very interesting and insightful, this person is but 15 years old and talks like a Rabbi. I was very impressed. My Rabbi usually gives good sermons, but they're definitely too long.
BTW, 4 days till Yom Kippur.
