I'm running alongside Coney...

someone should make a movie called Running with Coney

my solution to aging -- and so far I'm content with the results -- is to adamantly remain immature

Coney is Forrest Gump? Keep running guys! You're doing fine!

Maybe I was so *wild*, I scared myself normal! (It wasn't pretty! )
Let's see, if you two live to be 70ish, you have 40 or so years left...you gonna do the same stuff all those years! That's too boring for me! So far it seems I've done

"straight".....WILD......straight, with weird exceptions (current) ....and I'm looking forward to a final, goofy "walk on the wild side" when nobody is left to care! Get ready kids!

The trick is to do each "phase" so thoroughly, you are bored out of your gourd by the last couple years and are ready for major change each time! Better thrills than bungee jumping!

Now if I could live to be 150, I could be a regular "yo-yo woman"!

Actually, I just turned 40 in January, but then, who's counting?

I'm afraid mid-life crises are not gender specific.

Ok, Hasty Ent is eating healthy, exercising, not smoking, wearing her seat belt, getting medical checkups in a timely fashion...cause she's going to live to at LEAST 80! (ME too! I hope! ) You do that stuff too Coney? It really helps! Course you have to have some righteous longetivity genes happening too!

It's very sweet of you to care, Lizra! Hope you live as long as you like...how about 100?

You're right about doing those things -- looks around with a guilty expression -- but I'm afraid only 2 of the 5 are part of my life.

and don't ask which two...

Don't ask! sheesh! Only two! Come on HE! You're 40 now! Think again!

I'd like to live to 90, in good health...then phase out (not in the hospital hooked up to machines though, just gently at home or a nice nursing home situation) at about 92. I don't think it would be too fun to live after all your contemporaries and loved ones (except hopefully your children, grandchildren etc) have died. Too sad and elvish! I already don't feel very *fresh* some days! I"m sniffing out that "second wind" though!

I don't think that my life would be that different. I only had to work longer.
