Edhellond

Where is Edhellond? The information I've found on it is quite (seemingly) contradictory. I know it's in Belfalas, but where?

From the Complete Guide to Middle-earth by Robert Foster.

Quote:
Edhellond- The harbor, either at Dol Amroth, or at the mouth of the Morthond-Ringlo, from which the southern white ships of the Eldar sailed to Aman.

Unfinished Tales - The History of Galadriel and Celeborn - Note #18

The place of the Elvish haven in Belfalas is marked with the name Edhellond on the decorated map of Middle-earth by Pauline Baynes; but I have found no other occurrence of this name.
"In the Langstrand and Dol Amroth there were many traditions of the ancient Elvish dwellings, and of the haven at the mouth of the Morthond from which 'westward ships' had sailed as far back as the fall of Eregion in the Second Age."

Aha... I was worried there for a moment, since it appeared from that second quote as if Christopher Tolkien himself was uncertain about Edhellond. But I dug up my own copy of UT and read on to find that the Pauline Baynes map was apparently legitimate.

All right. Thank you both. You are Yodas.
