Well im so damn excited i just came back from Ned Kelly and im well yeah excited..

has anyone else seen it yet? well only Aussies or Kiwis would have i guess... i dont care anyone else out there whos seen it tell me what you think... coz i personally thought it was the best Aust. movie ever, the saddest movie and the best Ned Kelly portrayal ever (not that there was much competition

)
ohhh i cant wait to go see it again... all you Chicago lovers that does not compare to Ned Kelly (yes i brought myself to watch that trash)
anyway if you have seen it write here if you havent then get off your arse and go see it

I haven't watched it yet, but i was thinking that they would totally exaggerate Ned Kelly's 'kindness' and 'compassion', going out of their way to portray him as a misunderstood, warm-hearted man.
Did you think they did, Millane?
Not that i think he was completely horrible as such, but the movie is sure to make it seem like everyone was against him though he did nothing that bad.

Orlando Bloom and Heath Ledger are in it aren't they! Yay!
It looks like it's going to be really good film. I can't wait to see it!

well i guess it comes down to your own opinion on "hero or villain" but away from the movie people that were at Jerilderie, Euroa and Glenrowan commented on how polite he was and just looking at his story i tend to take Ned's side over the police... all people who see Ned as just a cop killer dont look see that his mum was imprisoned, he was wrongly accused of attempted murder (which started it all), his dad constantly hassled by the police and the police were shooting at him too...
sorry i would have no idea when it opens in England but Heath Ledger and Orlando Bloom were absolutely awesome in it...
