My favorite character in LOTR is Merry. He is such a smart hobbit with lot of common sense, and it´s very easy for me to relate to him and his feelings.

I also like Boromir, Gimli and Legolas a lot. <- I seem to like mostly the minor characters.

In Sil Maedhros and Beleg are my favorites. Beleg is such a great friend for Turin and Maedhros.. I guess I like him because he really doesn´t have any chances; no matter what he does, it goes wrong in the end.

I can only agree with you, but I don't think that Eowyn was the only strong femal character in Middle-earth (or LotR). But probably the best fighting woman.

hi all

My fav characters are Legolas and Gimli they are just so funny together. I also admire samwise simple because if there was no sam, frodo the lame would not have succeded.

I hate people who agree with you even when what ever you say is obviously totally stupid. I've been on a few sites that are like that it's soooooo borrring and this site being about something that I actually really enjoy, I just had to test the waters, sorry guys.

I love all the characters in Lord of the rings (and how can I call myself a Lotrs fan and not like frodo the most essential character in to book?)

I REALLY have a prob. with Aragorn, passes on Eowyn (REALLY!)for some 2000+ year old Daddy's girl Bleeeccchhh!!!!!
