Happy Thanksgiving!!!!!!!
I will be going away (I know you're all heart broken ) and while I still have the chance I would like to wish everyone a safe and cheerful Thanksgiving, and count your blessings and give thanks.(The companionship I find here at Entmoot is among my blessings) Enjoy it spend time with those you love and God Bless. Happy Thanksgiving again and I hope to be back soon. |

Oh, no! Don't use that word! Especially not in public, multicultural
areas! It's so... bigoted and partisan! Please, let's stick to the safely generic and non-exclusive terms such as "divine being" or "deity", or even better, "collective consciousness". (That was all gritted-teeth sarcasm directed at the public-school system, BTW) |

giving thanks for food & togetherness. and the ritual sacrifice of fattened turkeys. and the watching of football... and the seeing of relatives not seen since last thanksgiving... and the getting of days off work... and the beginning of the incessant christmas shopping (sorry, i work in retail)...

i too shall be going down to NYC for thanksgiving from Tuesday afternoon to Sunday
but hopefully, my dad will bring the laptop and i can ring up a small fortune in phone bills from using the modem |
