Keyboard Question

How do you type a "u" with a carrot over it? I used to know, but have long forgotten.

Preferably, aswer with ALT+nnnn, the n's of course being numbers.

That's why I had all those special characters in my sig - my keyboard was one of those few that couldn't do that. With our new computer, though, my keyboard works now

I think I'll leave them in my sig anyway, though - they look kinda neat!

Dosn't look like a carrot to me, I was trying to work out how to type a u with a vegtable over the top

And I got really stressed when I couln't find it!

It's a circumflex. In French it can usually be replaced by the letter and an S to get a word similar to English, like forêt. If you want to know.
