Oxymorons (if thats how ya spell it)
i just thought this was kinda weird.
the basis of the christian and jewish religions are the ten commandments. one of them is "thou shalt not commit adultery" but the founder of the religions, abraham, had a mistress and a wife. how weird is that? post other oxymorons here

LOL that's because it wasn't adultery if you owned the girl. I'm sure some apologist here will JUSTIFY that, too.

No, Abraham was in wrong there; also, it was only a temporary situation. And we never claimed we were perfect.
Actually, the basis of the Christian religion is not the 10 commandments, and I'm not sure, but I don't think that's the basis of the Jewish religion. The basis of Christianity is Mercy, Redemption, and Forgiveness, more than Law. Not to say that Law is not a part of Christianity; on the contrary. "If you love me, you will obey my commandments." But anyway... Microsoft Works

The first not necessarily. Battle against demons is holy. (You're Christian, right?)
Last, also not necessarily. Depends on how you feel about the person.

a Holy War isn't an oxymoron but if you don't think about what it really is then it's an oxymoron cause ya know Holy War? i think i got that from GCFL(good, clean funnies list)so it's supposed to be clean and funny.never mind.sorry if that's advertising. and Goodbye i thought of that when i thought of what Charlie Brown always says-Good grief. i read a peom once about Goodbye how the person didn't understand why it was called goodbye if it ment she didn't get to see her grandma again or somethign like that. and yes i am.

Hmm...I have the feeling that probably most oxymorons can be disproven... Maybe I should stay away from here...
