The ring of power

I've seen in shops a ring with a chain and elven scripture around its band. It says something about batteries needed. Has any one got one and do they know what the ring does?

I don't have one, but I'm guessing that the scripture lights up and maybe it makes the noise that the ring makes in the movie. Just a guess.

I don't have that ring either, but I'm guessing what Duddun says id probobly right. maybe the ring says ine if Gandolf lines concerning the ring at the start of fotr. You could probobly just ask the people at the store and they would tell you most likely. It sounds really neat. I saw a ring replica on line that you could really put into fire and the markings would appear! it was 600$ though. Ths one guy got it for his wedding band. I thought that was really cool.

For my B-day, my parents bought me a replica ring with the elvish inscription carved into it, I wera it around my neck on a chain everyday. People at school look at me a little funny though...

When I was watching fotr last night, my dad came in to say goodnight I was sitting on my bed (I can watch DVD's on my computer) holding my ring replica. he said I looked like I was in a transe. It is mine! I claim it! My preciousss... We found it. It is ours!
