Lord of Light

Lord of Light by Roger Zelazny is a great book IMOHO. I read it for school summer reading, and its one of the few books I've been required to read over this summer and past summers that I can honestly say I loved. It's got a really original plot about one man standing up to self-made Hindu gods (yes, that is vague).

Get a hold of Creatures of Light and Darkness. The story is incredible and the basis for Lord of Light.

Thanks, I'll definately look for it next time I go to the library. I was looking at what he's written on Amazon.com and was surprised to learn that he was quite a prolific author. I intend to start the Amber series by him soon as well.

GRONK thought Lord of Light was a great book too. Very clever, although GRONK got the feeling if he knew more about Hinduism he'd understand the book more. What is Creatures of Light and Darkness about? Is it by Zelazny?

Yes the book is writtten by Roger. The story line is packed with Gods and semi-gods. Set has returned and threatens to destroy everything, his brothers Thoth, and Typhoon as well as others try to distract him. There is also an appearence by "God".

Try it out. It is hard to find so you may have to order it.
