Did you know if you play Enya's "May it be" backwards you can hear Ian McKellan chanting, "I buried Frodo." ?

Very freaky.

Not really. I am playing off of the whole "Paul is dead" rumors that started back around 1969. I'm sure some Beatles web site has the whole story. Perhaps some of the elder mooters here understand the humor in my earlier post. I didn't mean to be so obscure. Sometimes what I think is funny leaves some folk scratching their heads.

Anyway, back to the moot!

Tom Bombadil Frodo is dead.

Pailan, I thought what you said was very funny. One question though. How do you get A CD to play backwards. The Beatle rule. Have a good Easter everyone.

Welcome to the moot Panther2112!

There are DJ mixing players that allow you to "spin" a CD backwards. Or you could make a reel to reel copy and play that backwards.

I swear it's Ian McKellan saying... Frodo's Dead. I buried Frodo. It's hard to pick out when enya's singing but the backward masking is there.

"I'm looking through you" - when Frodo puts on the ring.
"Helter Skelter" when they are chased in Moria
"I've just seen a face" - when they see a white figure in Fangorn...
"She loves you" - Aragorn & Arwen....

heh heh heh.

"Let me take you down to Pelennor Fields...."
As much as I love The Beatles, I'm sorry to say, but I think the movie would be shocking. Like Bakshi's movie...

Have you seen the lyrics for Pelennor Fields?

I wrote the whole song on the "I made a song!!!" thread over at the LOTR Books forum. f.b.-b. and BeardofPants are trying to do the rest of the Beatles songs. Hopefully, I'd be able to resist beating them to the rest.

Arwen Undomiel The Beatles rule!!!!!

my mom has this tape with all of the really really good Beatles songs on it, I'd be listening to it right now except I left it at my friends house last night oh well.............
in a way the movie would be kinda kool... in a way not.
And the idea of Ian Mackellan(SP?) chanting I buried frodo is kinda funny.
