All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us.

3:02 a.m.?? could you not sleep because you were contemplating the stunning beauty and profundity of this quote, or did you eat too much pizza?
BTW, where in the world is it from?

Is it possible to have three books in the #1 position of my Christmas wish list? War of the Jewels was there, at your recommendation, SGH, 'cause you know I like the Sil, then Peoples of Middle Earth joined it 'cause I want to read the Shibboleth, now Bored of the Rings! I need to buy stock in Borders bookstore... oh - better idea - just ask innocently for someone to order "History of M.E." for me for Christmas, not telling them it's 12 (is that right?) books ... hopefully they won't notice, and it will be too late when they get the bill ...

Eomer: do we walk in legends on the green earth in the light of day?
Aragorn: A man may do both, for not we but those who come after us will make the legends of our time. The green earth, you say! That is a matter mighty in legend, though you tread it under the light of day.
