does anyone have any info on darkelves? such as where they were from, what they looked like... who they fought agaiinst/for? any info would help!

What do you mean? Physically? If so, then look towards the Forgotten Realms for your info, not Tolkien. The closest you'll get, is the Feanorian Noldor.

In Tolkien, Dark Elves was a name given to Elves that had not seen the light of Aman.
