I was exactly the same, if you look a couple of posts back, but i finally found somewhere without ordering off of the internet

I got mine off Ebay. I wear mine on a ribbon, because mine's not real gold. The only thing I don't like about ribbons is that they wear out so quickly.

I just got one yesterday off a bookmark (Frodo) *proudly brandishes ring* It's on a smooth chain, so it hasn't shown any sign of wear or tarnish. Yet. For some reason, I can't go to sleep without it around my neck, and sometimes I finger it to make sure it's there. Is that normal?

Well, hullo everyone. As you can see, I don't hang out here muchly anymore. There's a good reason for this. Y'see, I've been hanging out at a different chatboard called Cardboardia. So far, I've been havin' a blast. Not that I don't love the TLA, but the magic of Entmoot is lost on me. So, as soon as TLA ends, so will my existance here, probably.

Who knows though? I might stay. Highly unlikely however. This is a good bye in advance, then. Unless you want to join me and my group of friends at Cardboardia.

Cheers!

I can't wear mine when I got to sleep - the chain always manages to choke me...I swear it is EVIL.
But I don't like other people looking at it or asking to see it, I always hide it somehow, well at school anyway. I don't mind at home but at school with people my own age... they wants it! The little thieves, they wants my precioussssssss! lol

Apart from my One Ring, I have a silver ring with a green stone. it is known as Morya, the ring of darkness, and was given to me by Sauron when I first fell under his power...

You're scaring me. How long ago WAS that?

My Ring is now silver with a gold inscription. V. annoying. Maybe it is the unknown " OTHER One Ring" !

Believe it or not, my husband and I have platinum One Rings instead of wedding rings Needless to say, our families think we're bananas.

Of course, the Lady Legrace's Wedding Ring is far more powerful than the Dark Lord's Ruling Ring.
