well, i'm just wondering if there are filipinos here. i'm a newbie, so i don't have any idea.

if you're a filipino, come and introduce yourself here. i just want to have a place here where we can freely talk and have fun in our language.

Hey, the Philippines sound like a really cool place, I'd like to visit there sometime! Well, i want to go all over the world, but that's beside the point.

So what's it like there? Beautiful beaches, warm sunny climate? And, like most countries I've heard of, also its slums?

Yup, there are slums. Be sure to avoid the south and to avoid showing off cash. The best way is to go on a packaged tour or with friends from here. You won't have much trouble with language as most people speak english. Shopping is also fun since most items are really cheap, like clothing, electronics, and especially movies (around 2 USD or less).

but on the other hand, philippines' a nice place, especially it's people. we're very hospitable and friendly (i'm not saying this bec i'm a filipino

) there are also a lot of nice places here. if you plan to travel, put philippines in your list. i think it's worth visiting.
