I know quite a few people who have done the whole "teach English in Japan" thing and generally have quite positive things to say about it. You just have to research where you go, although after KSA, I suspect almost anything is a better environment.

I'm a little biased against biotech though. Just as someone who's worked towards a biosciences degree, done some labwork, used to want to do biotech, but decided that I don't like the lifestyle or the culture. Although biotech in the US certainly pays better than in Canada...They've got all the big companies.
Whatever you want to do, sounds like you have alot of experience in alot of different things, so it will work out.

Ooh, lucky. I wish I could travel as much. Japan would be really cool, -I am biased, I love the Japanese culture- but the FBI or teaching here in the states sounds cool too. You've got plenty of options, huh?

Have fun in Thailand this summer! You'll make the right decision.
