Dwarves, Dwarves!
My kin are strong, hardy folk, quick to wrath but equally quick to bestow favor on those whom we respect. Miners, delving deep are we, seeking that which glitters in the deeps of the earth, where others do not go. The Khazad can work magic with stone and gem, crafting weapons and armor magnificent to behold, and in function sturdy and reliable. In timeless citadels of stone we dwell, pursuing our crafts on the fiery forge, always delving ever deeper. My kin fear nothing, and give no quarter when called to arms. Our axes ring out as they strike hard and true, scattering our enemies or hewing them where they stand. Our counsel is our own, and no lord do we take other than our own, Aule. No dark power can corrupt our spirit, and to a dark power we will never pay homage. Seek not to test our wrath!
We are the Khazad, as named by Aule, our father. May the beards of my kin grow long with years of prosperity. Khazad!
