My Big Fat Greek Wedding
Anyone else seen this? For a film of its scale (a low-budget independent film released by IFC), it's amazing how popular its become. On the surface it seems like a generic romantic comedy, but that whole genre is really measured by how well the story pulled off even when the ending is predictable, and My Big Fat Greek Wedding is very enjoyable throughout. It's hilarious, but the humour is actually somewhat mature, and not the trashy cheap laughs you see so often nowadays.
