Black Metal
Not to be confused with heavy metal, does anyone have any thoughts on this genre of music? Love it or hate it? Do you have any bands you would like to share? I am open to all of your suggestions, and/or opinions. Please share them!

Hahahaaa, LOL are you kidding?!
...For anyone who doesnt know: 'Black', meaning satanic or of a dark nature. I dont think it has a huge following but there is a lot of great bands from Norway, Sweden and other places in Europe. Also there are some black metal groups from here in the states as well. Cradle of filth isnt really black metal, but I just like them so I put them up here. That really made me laugh...

This term comes from the Roman Catholic Church, where advocatus diaboli (Latin for "devil's advocate") signifies:
(A)One who argues against a cause or position, not as a committed opponent but simply for the sake of argument or to determine the validity of the cause or position. (B)Roman Catholic Church. An official appointed to present arguments against a proposed canonization or beatification Jenkins, are you Catholic, or Satan himself?
