The morning after the Great Council, you gather some provisions and set out with the party of Elves. "We had best use Redhorn Pass," says one elf. "Cruel Caradhras can be treacherous, but usually not so early in the season." The rest of the group concurs.

After about a fortnight of travelling in the silent lands near the mountains, you finally reach the Redhorn Gate. "We are lucky it is still only November," remarks an elf. "This pass is known for its massive snowstorms." The party is able to cross the mountains with no sign of enemies. You go down the Dimrill Stair and then eastward.

At last, many weeks after departing Rivendell, the party reaches the edge of the woods... Continue to Lothlorien!
