I'm reading the books for the first time and I'm half-way through the first half of RotK. Hopefully that made sense.

I'm just beggining Book VI for the first time. You know the Houses of Healing is a really great chapter.

im rereading the sil, lol. the last chtr in LOTR I read on a bus and i started crying and the busdriver pulled over and was like are u ok, OMG whats wrong. t was so embarressing

I nearly cry everytime I pick up the LOTR and read the last page!
If you haven't finished the book, careful you don't find out how it ends inadvertantly, that would be a shame.

I'm not rereading the book. I reread Sil, but I jump from one part to another... It's much more fun, that you can skip the boring parts.

Boring parts? There are no boring parts! Not in The Silm! They only chapter I skipped was the one describing Beleriand.

I am about to start rereading LotR, because I am going on camp tomorrow, and I can't read it then. (I will just be teased more about my obsession, in addition to my paranoia about damaging the books) As soon as I get back, straight to Entmoot, then reading FotR again. Yay!

I just started FotR again for like the 5th time...i'm still on the 2nd chapter...I like when Frodo complains about his pack being the heaviest, but Pippin wont let Sam carry any of Frodo's stuff...Frodo sounds so old there...its really weird...

I have read all of the Lord of the Rings books at least 4 times (some more), and i am now reading the Silmarillion for the first time. Feanor and his troop just got to Beleriand. And whats-his-face (sorry, I forget who) just got the dwarves to make him the most beautiful home/mansion/king-queen dwelling in all of ME/Belleriand...or something. Its kind of confusing, but it is realy good.
