Star Wars Galaxies--An Empire Divided
Anyone else have this game or any screenshots they took that they can post? I have some great examples here.
Character Bio Name: Sie'gfreid Species: Twi'lek Sex: Male Profession: Spy Faction Info: Rebel Ship(s): MandalMotors M3-A "Scyk" Interceptor "Naarlaantral" Vehicle(s): X-31 Landspeeder Weapon(s) of Choice: Alliance DL44 Blaster Pistol, Spy Carbine, Cyro Lance, Vibrolance, Rydel's Axe Favorite Drink: Tatooine Sunburn Screenshots http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a2...enShot0009.jpg From the controls of the Naarlaantral, upon exiting hyperspace. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a2...enShot0004.jpg The Naarlaantral, high above Tatooine's atmosphere. An annoying "sign" that won't go away says "Holodisc Trainer." http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a2...enShot0002.jpg My X-31, with Mos Eisley Spaceport in the background. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a2...enShot0001.jpg The son of a Murglak Imp Colonel who stole all the money from my other, recently deleted (because of him!) character.

Some More Screenshots:

And there are more, but I appear to be missing a great deal of the pictures I thought I uploaded to Photobucket.

What is this game like TB? It seems interesting but i have not found anything to be very informative on what it is exactlly like. Is it similar to a MMORPG? Is it online at all?

I would call it an MMORPG, but I forget what the other M stands for...hmm...Well, anyway, it's online, sometimes to my misfortune (!--Like today!). It's really great. I just got such a great deal on my Dunelizard I now have a Scyk and a DUnelizard. And a very slow computer that Norton Antivirus is trying to take over so I can't play it and the small chance I had to today ended because of the Scylla server shutdown on Galaxies' part.

SWG is an MMORPG in the same sense that WoW, Guild Wars, and company are. Which means... not really.
It's another bland, boring, un-fun clone in the genre that tries to cash in on the popularity of an existing franchise while at the same time providing practically nothing in terms of actual game experience. Kind of like LOTRO will be. Yeah. Let's not go into my crushing dissapointment with MMORPG's as a whole.

I think it's great. Now the net is slow, though, so I can't use it very well, but it's the best game I've ever played. And I know a few good games. Although...you DO have to pay for this.

MMORPGs, like forums, are only as good as the people who play them with you... i tried SWG, but unfortunately did not know many others who played, so i never warmed up to it... but it is a pretty cool game
