Fellowship here

I wonder how many of the Fellowship members do we have here on the boards? I mean, how many persons there use Fellowship members' names as their forum-names?
Just wondering.

well, since the same name cannot be used by more than one poster, logic would limit the number to nine, with possible exceptions such as Gandalf/ Mithrandir, Strider/ Aragorn, or Merry/Meriadoc.

But there are Legolas, Legolas_bowking, The_real_Legolas, mrs Legolas, Legolas 326... So, these count, and there can be many more than nine.

Mine name is both Quenya and Dunadan word that I liked the sound of, meaning "ship-day". After I registered here though, I found a website that translates one's REAL name into various Tolkien languages.

I know the sites. My name would be 'Lotion", cause my Christ-name is Antanas, the same as 'Anthony'.

They don't have my real name either. You may try your Christ-name, if there isn't St. Jayde, of course.

Gollum

Mmm, I'm not really convinced... Following this link my own name is Hebrew for princess, but I am sure it was queen. (I got demoted! How rude) Oh well, means I get to choose (whoohoo) between Aranel and Tarië. Well I kinda like that.. thanks for the links Earenya!

Was anyone brave enough to take the name of Gollum?

My favourite nick that I've seen here is "Foul Dwimmerlaik", LMAO!

Well, part of my name is a Fellowship character...yet another Legolas, I know, so I have it in English, after a tweaked translation of my own name....so I'm both Legolas and my Elvish name. Yeah, so I guess I could be another Fellowship person...
