Mannish Sorcerers
There is an idea, that Men were not using magic and sorcery in Middle Earth. Is this true? What about those 9 Human Kings, who took the rings? It is said, that amongst them were great sorcerers. What about the Mouth of Sauron, who was in fact a Man. He was skiled in Magic. That means, that Humans had physical ability to control magic. There were other examples too, like Cardolanian smiths, who forged enchanted swords.

I don't really have that much to say on the topic, but Sauron was a maia, not a man.

Well, they would perhaps have to be instructed in magic some way, by Sauron or someone else skilled in magic.

Tolkien said somewhere that Beorn was a Man. He was a master in shape-shifting, which you may regard as 'magic'.

Yeap, they could do it. I'll try to find one of the old post and place here.

Tolkien never wanted many creatures to be "magical", correct? I read that since the tales are told through the eyes of Hobbits, ordinary things to the Elves would be 'magical' to the Hobbits.
But I need to brush up on "The Hobbit". Continue talking. ^_^
