AND http://www.narniafans.com/?id=773 I am just hoping that Douglas Gresham is going to remain an executive producer to maintain the integrity of the adaptations. I thought he did a superb job on LWW. ***fingers crossed*** and +++++++++prayers+++++++ edit: cross reference from the movie thread http://headlines.agapepress.org/archive/1/242006b.asp

Can't wait for Caspian, I was kind of hoping we'd get another director but Adamson did a good job so its all good
the Peter V. Miraz fight promises to be a favorite scene kind of like P vs. WW in LWW and the introduction of Reepicheep, I wonder if they'll flesh out his character a little more.

I always liked Caspian because of the underground theme in the beginning...something like a spy thriller, kind of. And, of course, the duel with Miraz will be spectacular. It'll be interesting to see how similar the moving trees look to the ents.

I'm a little torn when it comes to the Narnia movie franchise. Torn because it is a children's story and therefore ought be accesible to kids, and also because I'm no longer a kid, and the kid-pandering (and by kid-pandering, i mean things like edmund's horse saying, "hey, my name is phillip", and most of the fox's lines, as well) that happened in LWW irked me. It jarred me out of my suspended disbelief, and I'm more than anything hoping that the series doesn't end with the last three movies being low-budget, and released straight to dvd.
As for Caspian, my favorite part is when lucy sets out on her own and finds aslan.

The only other suggestion I've heard for Caspian (made on various fan websites by people who possibly haven't read the book) is Orlando Bloom, so at the moment you're in the lead

I think we're safe for the moment. Orlando Bloom's way too old. Who would be a good choice? Hm...don't know that many child actors.

I think they'll probably pick an unknown. That's what they did in the first one, and it was a wise move. They'll get more famous actors to cameo doing voices, like Rupert Everett did in LWW. please, please no John Rhys-Davies as Trumpkin.

I don't think Davies will do another dwarf, at the end of LOTR filming he burned his prosthetics said he will never play a dwarf as long as he lives, or something to that effect, maybe Kiran Shah again...

btw, Father Christmas was a relatively unknown...but he's been in a bunch of great movies. Braveheart, the 13th Warrior, and a very good Treasure Island production.

I thought he looked familar. I'm trying to think of a good actor to play Glenstorm. Patrick Kake was great as Oreius, but I think they should cast an unknown for him as well. Hmmmm......What do you guys think?

Oreius was the main centar in the films. Glenstorm is the only Centar mentioned in Prince Caspian.

Just kidding!! I hope the director is the same person who did The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. That person is a genius.
