Login getting logged out
OK, I show up, log in, write a reply, go to post, and get a "You can't post-you're not logged in" message.
I re-fill the blanks, click the log-in, go back to my message, re-post, and get a "90-second delay rule". It's even worse trying to edit- I have to log-in again every time, and sometimes the re-edit won't even show up. Just coming here straight from posting in General Topics I got a "not logged in " message. I use Firefox, and in "tools-options-privacy" page I've got it checked to "remember what I enter in forms" and in "tools-options-security" I've got the "remember passwords " box checked. Any ideas?

And, yes, every time I show up I click the "remember me", and it never does.

I post from several different computers, most of them use Firefox (some under Windows and others under Linux). One or two keep my login over several days, while others throw me out after ten minutes. I have no idea what causes the difference.
I've never been thrown out as fast as what you describe, though.

I usually get logged out after about 15 minutes idle (which includes while writing longer posts) but I've never had it happen with the frequency you have, either.
Board weirdness?

Which version of Firefox are you using? I'm using 3.0.13 and I have no trouble whatsoever. It will remember me for ever if I left the screen open that long.
I hope it gets sorted out.

I occasionally have the same problem. I log in, click 'remember me', get on the Entmoot, and if I happen to type a long post, the computer tells me it has logged me out when I try to post or review it.
I'm not an expert, but I've always chalked it up as cookie quirks. I know I getted logged out when the cookies are cleared, which is regularly done on this computer.

GrayMouser, it sounds like your Firefox might not be storing any cookies at all.
Go to Tools > Options > Privacy and make sure the box "Accept cookies from sites" is ticked.
