I completed it. That's brilliant Elanor.

terrific. Yes, I thought about including the accented letters, but a lot of people wouldn't know how to get them. Did you guys submit your names? I'm supposed to get an email when people do, but I haven't gotten any.

But I loved it anyways. It made me realize how insane I am, when from things like Slowcoach or Where they make the toys I immediately realized the solution... Drove my bro crazy by reading it out loud and pondering about the trickier ones... (because 1. he's just started learning English, 2. he's not such a ME-nut as me, so not much of it made sense to him at all.)

Okay, I did it again, and sent off the little winner box thing.

Fun fun! There were a few words I couldn't remember for the life of me. So I.. um... cheated with the hints.

Yay, I got a notification for Earniel! Good job, and that's why I made the hints feature.

I completed alot of it. I didn't get some of the trickier ones, but I should have if I used Silmarilion, but I'm too tired.

I didn't use the hint feature but I did check every letter as I did it.

I printed out the puzzle and was doing it (mostly without the books, eheh) this afternoon. And I wanted to check some of my answers... But it just tells me to keep trying,
So, where is this hint feature? I'm feeling sort of cheated out of help.

Well, I turned it off. If you PM me I'll tell you how to get it back again though.
Or you could ask a question on here about a word or two. |

Ok, I`ve got 5 left (except if I solve one of them it will complete another) and I`m kinda stuck. I think almost all the ones left are from the Hobbit and I don`t have it with me so I can`t even look it up. And no hints of word checks either. I did most of it without looking things up (well over half anyway) which actually is really scary. Yeah, like the "slowcoach" one for example, haha. I love "Denethor`s special warm place" too. Funny.
EDIT: Yes!! Finally got it! I used the books a little and maybe one or two I found the answers on Entmoot somewhere, but I was suprised how well I did without. That so rocks. Great puzzle! That was way fun! Ok, I had to look up 35%. That means 65% without looking up. Funny though, some I looked for in the books, couldn`t find, and then it came to me later. And some I didn`t look up at all- they just got filled in when other words were found. And I counted those as looked up. Last edited by katya : 01-14-2006 at 04:16 AM. |
