There are other things by Gaudi that are worth a visit: El Capricho, El Parque Güell (sp?)... There used to be a nice fountains show at Plaza de España (or Plaza de Catalunya, I cannot remember now ) at night. And yes, of course the Nou Camp! Go Barça!

oh! i love barcelona!!
i was there on a trip from school, mainly to look at the architecture; gaudi, gaudi, gaudi!! You have to see Park Güell! it's amazing. and, as fm said, la sagrada familia. if you walk around (or go by taxi; it's rather cheap!) you'll bump in to some of his buildings. i've heard that the fountains along the beach somewhere in western (i think) Barcelona are amazing too. hope you have a great time!

Hi Hawklan, Barcelona is a beautiful city, I've been there twice on an interrail ticket (I know the railway station pretty well ). If you like architecture then you cannot miss La Sagrada Familia. When I was there the place looked a lot like a construction place from the outside, but it's many years ago, and the inside was stunning. Be sure to climb up in the highest tower, and get a magnificent view of the city!
Enjoy!

here's the little piece of literature we had to write before we went to barcelona:
gaudi! the text is in swedish, but there are some pics and names on gaudÃ*'s buildings. might take forever to load, but you can always try if you want to. yep, barcelona is a wonderful song..*dreamy*
