Greatest Work
In everyone's opinnion, what is the greatest work made in Arda, by any race (Vala, Maia, Elf, Man etc)?
I think that it's Yavanna's creation of the Two Trees. |

Well, the children of Illuvatar (That's what I was going to say!) especially Morgoth, he's extremely great! If evil!

The Children of Iluvatar refers to the Men and Elves, not the Ainur. (I think...)

Children first, then the Two Trees, Silmarils, and the Dragon Helm of Hurin.

Maybe Valinor itself? It was made by the Valar and Maiar.

And have we all forgotten another great work? The Stars! Varda made them. And also the two pillars of light before the sun and the moon and the Trees.

This list is not in any order of importance . . .
the children of Ilúvatar, the earth, the stars, trees, water, Valinor, the Two Trees of Valinor (Telperion and Laurelin). Quote:

The Children first - and then I agree with Anglorfin - the stars!

The Creation of the image of Ea by the Ainur...that has to be one of the best. And of course the creation of the Children of Illuvatar, and the creation of the two trees. But we're forgetting the colonization of the Shire!!! Or are ME and Arda completely different, if so forgive me my mistake.
I love the song of the Ainur even though that's not IN Arda exactly. Uhm the Creation of the silmarils, and the creation of the two trees, the destruction of the Ring, the restoration of the Shire and the sailing of the last grey boat out of ME Now let's see my favorite BAD part...the creation of the dragons, the CREATING of the Ring, and the destruction of the Shire because that has alot of humorous parts in it...despite the grimness of the situation. Cheers, Sam.

I think the greatest creation is the Children (specifically hobbits, because they're just so darn cute!) Then the stars, then Samwise Gamgee. (Have I mentioned he's my favourite character of all time?)
