glad too help a fellow SW fan . i'm trying really hard not to spoil the last SW movie, but it's soooo tempting i only read the first 5 or 6 pages, but it's really hard... i guess i'll have to will till it comes out (when ever that is) i'll just have to read the same pages and not spoil any more then i have.

If that's a real version of the script, then I think that the movie has a really good chance at getting at the level of the original trilogy. It explains a great deal of what has been previously thought of as plotholes and gets all the backstory in too.

Having read the first two paragraphs, I'd say the odds are 6500 to one that this script was cooked up by some well meaning but rather inept fan.

I'm pretty sure that, for all his faults, george lucas hasn't fallen that far... I hope?

6500 to one? Uh, no. I'd call it a divide-by-zero error.

It's absolutely impossible that it's the real script. I knew that as soon as I read the first page. The opening crawl is way too long and expository - in big yellow letters scrolling at a snail's pace, the main Star Wars fanfare would have to be played two or three times in a loop just to cover it. The opening crawls are always short and succinct, not a long narration.

Not to mention that "Tyrannus" here is spelt with two N's. In all Episode II production materials, it's "Tyranus". Dead giveaway.

This is a work of pure fan fiction.

for starters its not even a scrip there is little dialog bettween characters its a collection of speaches. Its defintally not a george lucas scrip as he likes to keep his dialog short and to the point.

oh and another thing Anakin says i think she might be pregnant then she has the babies the next day? come on thats a tad bit of an oversight.

My personal theory is that she will have the babies early on in the movie and spend the rest of the movie hiding them.

Back in late '01 someone posted the script for Ep2, illustrated with pics captured from the trailers.

It turned out to be the real thing, which ended up spoiling Ep2 for me when it came out in May.

If any decent fake were made three things HAVE to be in it, and the absence of these things is enough to indicate fakeness:

1. Amidala giving the baby Luke to Owen and his wife.

2. Boba Fett avenging his father's death.

3. Damage to Aniken's face requiring a mask.

I didn't have to put them as spoilers, but I'm being overly careful.
